Steve Spooner

Steve Spooner has held several corporate director roles throughout their career. From 2019, they have been a Corporate Director at Docebo, KEY DH Technologies Inc., Jamieson Wellness Inc., and E Automotive. Prior to these roles, they served as a Board Member at the Sprott School of Business - Dean's Advisory Board from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they were the CFO of Mitel from 2003 to 2019. Additionally, they have served as a Corporate Director at The Ottawa Hospital Foundation from 2007 to 2016, at Magor Corporation from 2009 to 2015, and as the COO of Wysdom from 2002 to 2003. Steve also served as the CEO and Corporate Director at Stream Intelligent Networks from 2000 to 2002.

Steve Spooner attended the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. After completing their degree, they obtained their Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in September 1982. In February 2009, they obtained the ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Later, in June 2011, they became a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Finally, in November 2012, they achieved the designation of Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
