TJ M.

TJ M. has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of threat intelligence and cyber security. TJ is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Keyavi Data, where they oversee the evaluation, testing, and monitoring of security controls. TJ also manages various security operations, threat and vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, policy enforcement, and user training and awareness efforts.

Prior to joining Keyavi Data, TJ M. served as the VP of Cyber Threat & Intelligence at the same company starting in March 2020. Before that, they founded CNY ThreatXchange in August 2019, where they held the role of Founder until September 2021.

Their previous work experience includes being the Global Head of Threat Intelligence at National Grid from January 2018 to March 2020, and an Executive Advisor for Threat Intelligence & Cyber Security at Info-Tech Research Group from April 2016 to January 2018. TJ M. also had a significant tenure at Morgan Stanley as the Executive Director of Global Head of Threat Intelligence from October 2015 to April 2016.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, they worked at Citi as the Senior Vice President of the Cyber Intelligence Center for seven years, starting in September 2008. During their time at Citi, they played a crucial role in defining, expanding, and managing core teams for the Citigroup Cyber Intelligence Center.

In addition to their corporate roles, TJ M. has also contributed to the field of threat intelligence through their involvement with organizations such as FS-ISAC, where they served on the Threat Intelligence Committee from September 2004 to September 2014.

TJ M.'s career in the field of cyber security and threat intelligence extends even further, with experiences as an adjunct professor at Bergen Community College and as the founder of both Duna International LLC and Entropy Analytics LLC.

TJ M. completed a Chief Information Security Officer Certification in Cyber Security at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in International Business / Entrepreneurial Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, studying from 2006 to 2008. In 2004 to 2005, they attended Fordham University as part of an MBA program. TJ M. also pursued further education at the Institute of World Politics from 1997 to 1998, specializing in the Graduate School of National Security & International Affairs. In 1996 to 1997, they studied Management Information Systems at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Earlier in their education, TJ M. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comprehensive Social Science, Secondary Education from Ohio Dominican University, studying from 1991 to 1993. Finally, they attended The Ohio State University from 1988 to 1990, focusing on Business Administration. Additionally, TJ M. obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in December 2001.
