Brandon Guerrero has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Founding Teaching Resident at East Harlem Tutorial Program in 2014. In this role, they developed and instructed a first grade classroom of 23 students, created and implemented a yearlong curriculum built around Common Core Standards for Math and English Language Arts, and collaborated with a mentor teacher to lead small groups in remediation for higher needs students. In 2015, they became an Operations Assistant at East Harlem Scholars Academies, where they ensured that the office spaces for two charter schools remained organized and fully stocked to run efficiently, coordinated with external vendors on repair and maintenance work, and screened and proofread handout documents for family engagement events, open houses, and donor visits. Most recently, in 2018, they took on the role of Operations Coordinator at KeyMe.
Brandon Guerrero obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University at Albany, SUNY between 2006 and 2010.
