Carolyn Saund

Carolyn Saund is an experienced engagement manager and staff software engineer at Keystone AI, where responsibilities include providing technical litigation support and developing secure generative AI document categorization tools. Previously, Carolyn completed a PhD focused on emotional AI and social robotics at the University of Glasgow and held positions as platform team lead and senior software engineer at Cogito Corp, along with roles as a robot SDK engineer and character AI developer at Jibo, Inc. Carolyn has also interned at Spotify and worked as a teaching and research assistant at Tufts University, where contributions included full-stack development, laboratory experiment design, and computer science education. Carolyn holds a Master's degree in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tufts University, complemented by studies at the University of Canterbury.
