Ethan Weiss

Ethan Weiss is a highly experienced medical professional and entrepreneur currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder at Marea Therapeutics since July 2023. Weiss also holds a position as Volunteer Associate Professor and Associate Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, contributing since July 1998. Additionally, Weiss serves as an Advisor for Keyto and has experience as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Third Rock Ventures from July 2021 to June 2024. Earlier training includes roles as an Intern and Resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital from July 1996 to June 1998. Ethan Weiss earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, after obtaining a degree from Vassar College from 1987 to 1991.
