Mohamad Al-Baghdadi has a strong background in entrepreneurship and leadership. Mohamad co-founded and served as the CEO of ebrary, a digital content provider, from 1998 to 2008. Following that, they became the co-founder and CEO of Al Manhal, a platform for Arabic academic econtent, starting in 2010. Additionally, Al-Baghdadi is currently the CEO of Kezana, where they oversee the operation of various online platforms. Mohamad has also held the role of CEO at TechKnowledge FZLLC, a leading EdTech SaaS provider in the Middle East, since 2008. Through their work, they have made significant contributions to the academic resources and elearning industry, impacting millions of students across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
Mohamad Al-Baghdadi completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Systems & Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1993. Mohamad then pursued a Master's degree in International Management with a focus on International Trade and Market Development from Thunderbird School of Global Management, graduating in 1997. Before their higher education, Mohamad earned their high school diploma from Escola Americana de Brasilia in 1989. Moreover, in 1994, they also completed another Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
