Govinda Dhakal

Govinda Dhakal is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, marketing, and education. Currently serving as the General Manager at Himalaya TV since June 2020, Govinda is responsible for challenging senior leadership assumptions to drive effective business decisions and oversee corporate communications. In addition to this role, Govinda serves as an Assistant General Manager and Faculty Lecturer at KFA, focusing on Strategy Management and Managerial Communications. With a part-time position at Ace Higher Secondary School, Govinda contributes to the development of research objectives and teaching materials. Prior experience includes key marketing roles at Naya Prakashan, BLC Holdings Pvt. Ltd., and Kantipur Media Group, where responsibilities ranged from product management to advertisement sales. Govinda holds an MBA in Banking and Insurance from KFA Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from St. Xavier College.
