Elisabeth Rosenthal began their work experience in 1994 as a Reporter for the New York Times. In 2016, they became the Editor In Chief for Kaiser Health News.

Elisabeth Rosenthal completed their education with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Harvard Medical School. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from Stanford University. Elisabeth also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Cambridge.
