Heinrich Paeßens

Heinrich Paeßens has a diverse work experience including roles in risk controlling, consultancy, and partnership ownership. Heinrich started working at METARISK Weick & Paessens Partnerschaft in 2004 as a Partner & Owner. Heinrich then went on to work at macrofinance.net GmbH in 2011 as a Consultant & Interim Manager, where they focused on the links between economic fluctuation and financial decision-making. Currently, they are working at KfW IPEX-Bank in the role of Risk Controlling, starting in 2023.

Heinrich Paeßens has a diverse education history. Heinrich completed a certificate in Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute in 2021. In 2022, they obtained a certificate in Climate Risks from the Florence School of Banking & Finance.

Prior to this, Heinrich pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, which they completed between 2020 and 2021. In 2006, they attended the University of Oxford, where they studied Mathematical Finance.

Heinrich obtained a Master's degree (Diplom) in Economics from the University of Duisburg-Essen, spanning from 1992 to 1998. Heinrich also studied Psychology at the Universität Trier, earning a Diplom (V) in 1992. In 1990, they briefly studied Business Administration and Management, General at Notre Dame College Belmont.

Lastly, they underwent an apprenticeship in Construction Cars & Trucks, Metal Working, resulting in the acquisition of a journeyman's certificate from GoFa in 1986.
