Jochen Saalfeld

Jochen Saalfeld is currently working as a Lead Engineer IT-Ops at KGS Software GmbH, where Jochen is responsible for maintaining and enhancing automated infrastructure, developing a container-first mindset, and establishing an Infrastructure-as-Code work-culture. Jochen has also worked as a Senior IT Operations Engineer at the same company and has experience in building and maintaining automated infrastructure, introducing GitOps, and operating servers at a colocation. Prior to their current role, Jochen worked as a Software and DevOps Engineer at SLA Software Logistik Artland GmbH, where Jochen focused on rebuilding and maintaining build-environments and systems. Jochen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universität Osnabrück.
