Koji Muto is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ki Hydrogen, where the company focuses on the affordable co-production of green hydrogen and biogenic carbon using advanced biomass electrolysis technology. Muto also serves as a Cohort 4 ClimateTech Co-Founder at Carbon13, a venture builder aimed at significantly reducing emissions. Prior experience includes roles at NeoCarbon in business development for Direct Air Capture technology, and Last Energy as a Power Process Engineer working on small modular nuclear projects. At ExxonMobil, Muto held various engineering roles leading innovative projects, including noise and light pollution reduction technology and carbon capture applications. Muto holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from London Business School and a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business from the University of Rochester.
