Stuart Countess

Stuart Countess has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Stuart began their career at Mercedes Benz U.S. International Inc. in 1994, where they served as an Assembly Manager for 13 years. In 2008, they joined Kia Georgia, Inc. and held various roles, including Sr. Manager and Director of Quality, before being promoted to Vice President of Quality in 2014. Stuart continued to advance within the company, becoming the Chief Administration Officer and Vice President in 2016, then the Chief Operating Officer and Sr. Vice President in 2019. Currently, they serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kia Georgia, Inc. starting in January 2022.

Stuart Countess earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama, where they studied from 1983 to 1987.
