Avi Cohen

Avi Cohen is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design. Currently serving as the Head of Design and Senior Product Designer Tech Lead at the Israel Defense Forces, Avi leads the development of a comprehensive Design System and oversees a UI studio, mentoring new talent in the design field. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer at Kidas and aiOla, where responsibilities involved creating user flows and prototypes for inspection applications. Avi began a freelance career specializing in UX/UI design and has held positions at Aman UI & Design and YIT - Yedioth Information Technology, where contributions included client consulting and branding development. Avi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management and a Practical degree in Industrial Engineering from The Open University of Israel.
