David Trent Dds

David Trent DDS, MD has a diverse work experience in the dental and medical fields. David started their career as a Surgeon at Santa Rosa & Rohnert Park Oral Surgery in 2013 and continued in this role until 2015. In the same year, they also worked as a Surgeon at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2012, they served as a Surgery Fellow specializing in Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Children's Miracle Network at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

David then moved on to Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics, where they held the position of Chief Medical Officer starting in April 2019. Additionally, they have been a Surgeon at the same organization since their initial appointment in 2015.

Currently, they are a Peer Review Committee Member at Delta Dental Insurance Company, a position they started in July 2021 and will continue until December 2022.

David Trent DDS, MD completed their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Physiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1997 to 2000. David then pursued Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, where they obtained their DDS degree from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they attended the University of California, Davis, and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 2006 to 2010. Finally, they specialized in Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, completing their OMFS degree from 2006 to 2012.
