Anayeli Cruz Cazares

Anayeli Cruz Cazares is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social services and advocacy for vulnerable populations, particularly unaccompanied and separated children. Currently serving as the Social Services Supervisor and previously as the Senior Social Services Coordinator at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), Anayeli is committed to ensuring access to legal counsel and the protection of rights for migrating children. With a background as a Family Support Specialist at Cope Family Center, a Case Worker at the Immigration Institute of the Bay Area, and a Legal Advocate at Legal Aid of Napa Valley, Anayeli has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting families and individuals in need. Anayeli holds a Master of Arts in Women, Gender, Spirituality and Social Justice from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Chicano and Latino Studies from Sonoma State University.
