Michelle Ortiz Kerr

Michelle Ortiz Kerr is an experienced Senior Paralegal at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since March 2017, with previous roles as a Paralegal and Program Assistant within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as a Paralegal at Schaner & Lubitz, PLLC and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Marquette University, where contributions involved editing articles and validating translations for significant publications in political science. Michelle has also held a position as a Protocol Office Assistant at the US Embassy Asuncion, where formal correspondence between the Embassy and the Paraguayan government was crafted in both English and Spanish. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Marquette University and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa.
