Jason Olson

Jason Olson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jason began their career at Olson Electric Service, Inc in 1991 as a Network Administrator and held various roles such as Master Electrician, I.T. Support, Superintendent, and Project Engineer until 2004. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at J.Bolton and Associates as an Architectural Designer and I.T. Director/CADD Manager. In 2009, they joined Sprint as an ATS Advanced Technical Support Representative for PDAs. In the same year, they started their own consulting company, Jason Olson Consulting, where they served as President & Owner. Since 2010, they have been with KidsCare Home Health, initially as a Cybersecurity Architect and IT Director and currently as the VP of Information Technology.

Jason Olson began their education journey in 1991, attending The University of Texas at Arlington. Jason studied Architecture-General Studies until 1993. In 2003, they enrolled in Dallas College Mountain View Campus, where they completed an Associate's Degree in I.T. Network Administration. Jason also pursued a second Associate's Degree in Computer Assisted Design in Residential Architecture at the same institution, graduating in 2005.

Jason furthered their education in 2008 by attending TechSkills, where they obtained a certification in MCSE (Microsoft Certification) in 2010. In 2009, they completed a training program at Sprint ATS Training, and in the same year, they obtained the MCSA1 certification (Windows Server 2003) from Microsoft.

Seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills, Jason earned additional certifications between 2012 and 2015. These included the CCSA Certification in Sonicwall Security Administration from Global Knowledge in 2012, the CIW Web Design Specialist and CIW JavaScript Specialist certifications from Certification Partners in 2013, and the CompTIA Project+ certification from CompTIA in 2014.

In 2015, they achieved the MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification from Microsoft. Jason's most recent educational achievement is their Bachelor's Degree in I.T. Network Administration from Western Governors University, which they obtained in 2015.
