Katie Gower

­Katie joined the Trellis Center at KidsTLC in 2017 as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In that time, Katie served as a Programming Clinician, Clinical Manager, and on the Interim Leadership Team. Katie obtained her undergraduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of Kansas. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, Katie received specialized training in the assessment and treatment of severe challenging behaviors from Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. Recognizing her passion for behavior analysis, Katie obtained her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) from Arizona State University. Katie has worked across multiple settings providing behavior analytic services, including as the Assistant Director for an out-of-district placement for children exhibiting severe, challenging behaviors. Katie is a passionate advocate for accessible, high-quality behavior analytic services. To further this mission in Kansas, she served two terms on the Executive Board of the Kansas Association for Behavior Analysis from 2017-2021.
