Madeleine Brown

Madeleine Brown has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a College Intern at USA TODAY in 2012, where they pitched article ideas and wrote articles for print and online platforms. Madeleine also worked as an Entertainment Features Intern at Seventeen Magazine during the same year, conducting celebrity research and transcribing interviews.

In 2013, Brown interned at The Peggy Siegal Company as a PR Intern, assisting with event preparation and production of film premieres and red carpet events. Madeleine also worked as a Senior Account Executive at FleishmanHillard from 2017 to 2018, where they played a crucial role in developing and executing lifestyle campaigns for well-known brands.

Brown then joined Happy Valley Communications as the Director of Business Affairs in 2013, where they developed sponsorship packets and managed the company's finances. Additionally, they worked with Flashback Forward and State College Spikes as an Account Associate, creating press kits and planning events.

At PRSSA: Penn State Chapter, Brown held various roles including Director of Membership/Mentorship and Fundraising Chair from 2012 to 2014. Madeleine recruited new members, organized networking events, and planned fundraisers for the Lawrence G. Foster chapter.
