Gavin Symonds

Gavin Symonds is a highly experienced construction professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Project Director at Kier Group since September 2024, Symonds has previously held key positions including Operations Manager at JN Bentley Ltd, Senior Project Manager at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd, and Senior Contracts Manager at J. Murphy & Sons Limited. Symonds’ background includes extensive roles at Costain Group PLC, starting from Junior Engineer to Senior Site Agent, and earlier experience as a Student Engineer at May Gurney. An alumnus of Loughborough University, Symonds holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, complementing a solid educational foundation from Notre Dame Sixth Form and Notre Dame High School in Norwich.
