Guy M. Bailly, CPA has a vast amount of work experience. Guy M. began their career in 2004 as the State Budget Officer at USPFO-AKARNG, where they were responsible for reconciling and providing management oversight for a $86M federal budget, and making budget recommendations to the Chairman of the Board. In 2008, they moved to Afognak Native Corporation as the G/L Accounting Manager/Financial Reporting Manager, where they handled accounting duties for a $800M Native village corporation and assisted in preparing the consolidated annual budget. In 2010, they joined NANA Management Services as the Assistant Corporate Controller, where they assisted with close-out/review/compliance of monthly financials of a $198M services company. In 2014, they became the Financial Controller at Bristol Bay Industrial LLC, where they were responsible for overall financial duties of the holding company, managing 5 companies with $325M annual revenues. In 2018, they moved to Vitus Energy LLC as the Controller, where they were responsible for financial duties, human resource duties, cash management duties and overall office management for a $65M barge and fuel delivery company. In 2019, they joined Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation as the Controller, where they were responsible for all functions assigned to accounting personnel and supervision, training and evaluation of accounting personnel. Later that year, they also joined NANA Management Services as a Senior Staff Accountant on a temporary job assignment through Alaska Executive Search. In 2020, they moved to Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation as the Assistant Controller, where they prepared budgets for five individual companies and provided financial analysis and guidance to General Managers and VP of Operations. Finally, in 2021, they returned to Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation as the Chief Financial Officer, where they developed and recommended short- and long-term cash, financing, and investment plans for approval by the Board of Directors, represented KIC in establishing and maintaining sound relationships with banks, investment bankers, and other financial institutions and groups, and maintained relations with existing and potential professional finance community investors on all financial matters. Additionally, they have been a member of the 3rd RSG, US Army Reserves since 2017, and since June 2018 has worked full time as the Senior Human Resources Officer, and since March 2020 has been the Brigade Executive Officer.
Guy M. Bailly, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Montana State University between 1987 and 1992. In 1995, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Montana. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Learning from Failure from LinkedIn.
