Richard D. Phillips

Ric Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and leadership positions. Ric is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Kimball Electronics since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Greenheck Group starting in 2022. From 2019 to 2022, they held the position of President and CEO, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, at Elkay Manufacturing, where they led the development and execution of a comprehensive long-term business strategy. Before that, from 2019 to 2021, they served on the Board of Directors at Follett, overseeing performance and providing counsel to the CEO.

Ric'sprevious experience includes serving as the President & CEO, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, at Essendant from 2017 to 2019. During their tenure, they conducted a rapid assessment of the business performance and rebuilt the company's overall strategy. Ric also led the largest restructuring in company history. Prior to that, they were the President of ORS Nasco and later the Group President of the Industrial Portfolio, responsible for three industrial business units.

Earlier in their career, they held the positions of President, Online and New Channels, at Essendant, where they drove sales growth and rebuilt the online business strategy. Before joining Essendant, they worked at McKinsey & Company, holding various leadership roles including Partner, where they led engagements in the healthcare and consumer industries. Ric also co-led McKinsey's Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Operations practice.

Ric Phillips began their career at Baxter Healthcare, where they held leadership roles with increasing responsibility.

Ric Phillips has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington. Ric also holds a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a field of study in Business.
