Lyn Morano Lord

Lyn Morano Lord serves as a board member and chair of the games and climate education committee at The Climate Institute since January 2017. In addition, Lyn is the founder of Homeroomteacher.org, a service providing in-home support for families engaged in remote education, and Edplay.org, a consulting company focused on integrating media tools and games into classrooms. Lyn is also a partner at The Game Plan Game and co-founder of Circuitboard Education. As a history teacher and chair of the history department at Kimball Union Academy since July 2006, Lyn leads strategic planning and mentors department members. Lyn's advocacy for the educational use of the game Civilization at Firaxis has resulted in discounts for education institutions, and contributions to educational discussions continue at Dartmouth College, where Lyn has held various leadership roles. Academic credentials include degrees from Dartmouth College and Harvard University in anthropology.
