Ewan Sinclair

Ewan Sinclair has over 15 years of experience in the field of analytical chemistry. Ewan is currently working as a Senior Analytical Scientist at Kimia Therapeutics since April 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at Carmot Therapeutics, Inc. as an Analytical Chemist from July 2021 to April 2023. Ewan'srole involved surveying large libraries of compounds using high-throughput automation and mass spectrometry analysis, with a focus on drug design.

Before joining Carmot Therapeutics, Ewan spent almost a decade at Touro University California as a Senior Research Associate. At Dr. Jean-Marc Schwarz's laboratory, they investigated sugar and lipid metabolism in humans using stable isotopes and mass spectrometry techniques.

Additionally, Ewan has experience as a Senior Scientist at Columbia Analytical Services (now Australian Laboratory Services) from August 2006 to July 2012. During this time, they developed various analytical methods for clients, covering a wide range of small organic compounds.

Ewan Sinclair obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University at Albany, SUNY, where they studied from 2001 to 2006.
