Josh Mayo is currently the Vice President of Restaurants & Bars for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Josh has been with Kimpton since February 2008, and in their current role for the past four years. Prior to Kimpton, Josh was with JCM Hospitality for over six years, where they held various positions including Director of Operations and Vice President of Restaurants & Bars.
Josh is a proven leader in the hospitality industry, with a passion for developing and driving initiatives that result in operational excellence and superior financial performance. Josh has a strong track record of working with hotel and restaurant ownership groups/asset managers to develop strategic plans that achieve common goals, and has played an active role in the pre/post opening of new restaurants. In addition to their wealth of experience, Josh is also a lead facilitator for Kimpton cultural cornerstone classes and a mentor in the Kimpton mentorship program.
Josh Mayo's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Administration/Management from Michigan State University. Josh then continued their education at the Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business, where they obtained a degree in Business.
They are on a team with and Danny Bortnick - Vice President, Restaurant Concept Development. Josh Mayo reports to Scott Gingerich, Senior Vice President, Restaurants & Bars.
