Siva Kumar

Siva Kumar is a highly experienced Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since April 2019, also serving as Kent Skin Cancer MDT Lead and Lead Clinician for Skin Cancer. As a consultant plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon since August 2009, Siva Kumar has held various significant roles, including Chair of the Skin Cancer TSSG Sussex and council member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). Siva Kumar's specialized interests encompass breast reconstruction and multiple facets of skin cancer and trauma surgery, with extensive involvement in the surgical management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. In addition to consulting roles at Mcindoe Surgical Centre Ltd and KIMS Hospital, Siva Kumar leads SK Consult Ltd, focusing on medico-legal reports and healthcare consultancy. With an academic background including an MBA from Durham University Business School and postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Siva Kumar combines clinical expertise with leadership in healthcare education and management.
