Cheng Hwee Chee

Cheng Hwee Chee has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Cheng Hwee began their career in 1987 as a Senior Engineer at Apple Computer, where they were responsible for system design engineering for several popular desktop Macintosh computer models. Cheng Hwee also managed an engineering team that designed test equipment for use in the company's worldwide manufacturing facilities. In 1997, they co-founded DVDO, and in 2000 they became the Director of CE Technical Marketing at Silicon Image. In 2001, they co-founded Anchor Bay Technologies and was responsible for the system and semiconductor product roadmap and managed the development team. In 2012, they became the General Manager of DVDO, Inc. with P&L responsibility for a division that produced HDMI and 60GHz wireless connectivity system products utilizing semiconductors from Silicon Image. From 2015 to 2019, they held various roles at Lattice Semiconductor, Futurewei Technologies, Inc. and Mythic, focusing on vision-based AI applications in the video surveillance and drone markets, partnerships with tier one cloud and video streaming companies, product marketing, product management, key account management, and board/PCB design. In 2022, they joined Kinara, Inc. as the Senior Director of Marketing, focusing on product marketing, product management and key account management. Cheng Hwee also works closely with the technical team to deliver hardware and software edge AI solutions to ISV, ODM partners and customers.

Cheng Hwee Chee has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Cheng Hwee also has several certifications from Coursera, including Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills.
