Polly Mitchell-Guthrie

Polly Mitchell-Guthrie has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Industry Outreach and Thought Leadership at Kinaxis, a global leader in supply chain management. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Two Halves Consulting, where they provided consulting services on analytics. Polly also served as the Director of Analytical Consulting Services at UNC Health Care, where they led a team of advanced analytical consultants and managed internal projects related to optimization and machine learning. Polly Mitchell-Guthrie is also a co-founder of the Women in Machine Learning & Data Science organization and has served as the Co-Chair of the NC Chapter. Additionally, they held various roles at SAS, including Senior Manager in the Customer Liaison Group, Director of the Global Academic Program, and Strategist for Alliances. Polly was also a member of the Analytics Certification Board and served as its Chair. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Self-Help and as a Program Director at Triangle Community Foundation.

Polly Mitchell-Guthrie holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, Polly has obtained certifications in Kinaxis Certified Change Management Essentials from Kinaxis in 2021 and Social Media from SAS.
