Pouya Bisadi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pouya started their career as a System Analyst, Database Designer, and .Net Developer at ParsoftStudio, where they analyzed systems, designed databases, and developed applications. Pouya then worked as a Software and Framework Developer at CARIS Company, using Agile/Scrum methodology for developing computational geometry C++ libraries. At Alcatel-Lucent, Pouya worked as a Software Developer and MS SharePoint Designer, where they developed a RESTful Web Service and improved the performance of the legacy SharePoint system. Pouya then joined the University of New Brunswick as a Master Student of Computer Science and later worked as a Research Assistant, focusing on a new peer-to-peer spatial data structure. Pouya continued their educational journey at Livingston Int., where they worked as an Application Developer and was part of the R&D team for replacing on-premises databases with cloud services. Pouya then joined Citi as an Application Developer, working in a globally distributed team and developing a tool for calculating and presenting security market opportunities. Later, at Klick, Pouya worked as an Application Developer, responsible for end-to-end development of data-driven solutions and data analysis performance improvement. At Aviva Canada, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and contributed to the design and maintenance of prediction services. Pouya then joined Rubikloud Technologies, which was subsequently acquired by Kinaxis, where they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Currently, Pouya holds the position of Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Kinaxis.
Pouya Bisadi completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, graduating between 2002 and 2008. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Practical Time Series Analysis" from The State University of New York and "Fundamentals of Digital Image and Video Processing" from Coursera Course Certificates, in the years 2020 and 2016 respectively.
