Julie Fisher has worked in the social services field since 2001. Julie began their career as a Connections Specialist at Catholic Community Services in 2001. In 2004, they became a First Steps Social Worker at Snohomish Health District. Since 2006, they have worked at Kindering in various roles, including CHERISH Program Director, CHERISH Program Manager, Infant Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, Family Support Program Manager/CHERISH Trainer, and CHERISH Clinical Social Worker. As Infant Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, they provide reflective supervision and consultation to early intervention providers across King County and is vetted at a level IV IMH endorsement by WA-AIMH. Julie also provides agency-wide consultation on infant mental health, as well as reflective supervision.
Julie Fisher obtained their MSW from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2001, specializing in Children, Youth, and Families. Julie also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington, which they earned between 1987 and 1990. In addition, they have a Certification in Foster and Adoption Therapy from Cascadia Training.
