Timothy Parfeniuk

Timothy Parfeniuk has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Timothy is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at KindGeek since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Avtologistika Group of companies from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they initially served as a Junior Dotnet Developer from 2019 to 2021 and later transitioned into the position of DevOps Engineer from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Avtologistika, Timothy worked as a DevOps Engineer (System Administrator) at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they gained experience in various technologies and tools such as GitLab administration, CI/CD using GitLab Runner, KVM virtualization, Linux CentOS and RedHat, Ceph storage, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, Docker and Docker compose, Kubernetes, Ansible and Bash scripting, and web proxy servers like NGINX and HaProxy.

In 2020, Timothy was part of a startup called Green-World. Timothy worked as a DevOps Engineer on a small project aimed at creating a communication platform for Eco-organizations. However, the project was eventually discontinued after three months of work.

Throughout their work experience, Timothy has showcased their expertise in DevOps engineering, demonstrating their ability to work with a wide range of technologies and contribute to the success of various projects.

Timothy Parfeniuk holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Timothy completed their Bachelor's degree from 2018 to 2022 and pursued their Master's degree from 2022 to 2024. In addition to their formal education, Timothy has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation" from Coursera in May 2022, "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine" from Coursera in July 2020, "Introduction to Bash Shell Scripting" from Coursera in July 2020, "Linux Server Management and Security" from Coursera in July 2020, "Cisco IT Essentials" from Cisco Networking Academy in January 2020, "Networking Essentials" from Cisco Networking Academy in January 2020, and "NDG Linux Unhatched" from Cisco Networking Academy in June 2019.
