Prem Viswanathan

Prem Viswanathan has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales and engineering.

Prem is currently working at Kinetica as the Head of Sales - Telco & Media since March 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at TigerGraph from June 2021 to February 2023 as Sales - Strategic Accounts.

From April 2020 to June 2021, they served as the Head of Sales - Telco at OmniSci.

Before OmniSci, they had a long tenure at Metaswitch Networks. Prem held the position of VP Sales - Strategic Accounts from January 2013 to March 2020. During this role, they managed sales for a group of Tier 1 accounts and led complex sales campaigns. Prem also served as the Regional Director APAC from January 2011 to December 2012, Regional Account Manager from September 2005 to December 2010, and Senior Systems Engineer from June 2004 to August 2005.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Empirix as a Senior Sales Engineer from 2002 to 2004, Lucent Technologies (formerly Ascend Communications) as a Senior Sales Engineer from 1999 to 2002, and Sprint as a Senior Software Engineer from 1996 to 2000.

From 1991 to 1996, Prem Viswanathan pursued a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland.
