Praveen Damacharla

Praveen Damacharla has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they were a Research Intern at Vijai Electricals Limited in Hyderabad. In 2013, they were a Student Technician at The University of Toledo. From 2014-2018, they held multiple roles at The University of Toledo, including Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Entrepreneur Lead (EL) NSF I-Corps Team. In 2018, they became a Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue University Northwest. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Research Scientist & Co-Founder at KineticAI, where they organized, managed, and supervised the technology department, developed technology in line with industry “best practices,” promoted the interests and reputation of the company, identified and evaluated new technology developments, advised the board on technology investments and initiatives, and advised the management committee on strategic technology research and development plans.

Praveen Damacharla completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Intermediate Junior Colleges from Gowtham Junior College, Gudavalli in 2006-2008, majoring in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. In 2013, Praveen Damacharla began their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at The University of Toledo, which they completed in 2018. Praveen also holds several certifications, such as the Fundamentals of Engineering from NCEES obtained in May 2019, Verified Peer Reviewer from Publons obtained in January 2018, Airmen Certificate: Private Pilot from Federal Aviation Administration obtained in October 2017, Certificate of Training in Developing on AWS from ExitCertified obtained in July 2016, National Science Foundation Innovation Corps from National Science Foundation obtained in May 2016, Robotics: Aerial Robotics from Coursera Course Certificates obtained in March 2016, 2016 Advanced Leadership Academy from College of Business and Innovation, The University of Toledo obtained in February 2016, and Medical Certificate Third Class from Federal Aviation Administration obtained in June 2017.
