Tariq Tamim

Tariq Tamim is a seasoned professional in pharmacy automation and informatics, currently serving as the Head of Pharmacy Automation & Informatics at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) since July 2010. In this role, Tariq has focused on developing and maintaining principles for the safe design and use of medication order sets, while also maximizing technology design to improve clinical outcomes. Tariq has also held positions as a Project Manager and Clinical Application Specialist at KAMC, overseeing significant projects such as the Pyxis upgrade and Hospital Information System implementations. Prior to KAMC, Tariq worked as a Hospital Pharmacist at Sudan Heart Center and as a Quality Manager at Central Medical Supplies. Tariq holds a Master’s degree in Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy from UMST, completed in 2008.
