Basel Khurfan

Basel Khurfan is a seasoned healthcare professional with a strong background in diagnostic radiology and general practice. Currently serving as Chief Resident at King Abdullah University Hospital since July 2019, Basel Khurfan has honed expertise in various medical specialties, including a previous role as a General Practitioner at Specialized Medical Center Hospital from January 2015 to June 2019. Basel Khurfan gained foundational experience as a GP Doctor with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, working in mobile clinics and emergency rooms from April 2011 to August 2013. A comprehensive internship was completed at National Hospital, covering multiple medical fields from June 2010 to June 2011. Additional elective rotations in kidney transplant surgery and general surgery were undertaken at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre and Specialized Medical Center Hospital, respectively.
