Riley Alvord

Riley Alvord is an experienced educational professional currently serving as Dean of Students at King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools since January 2022. Previously, Riley held the role of Special Education Teacher at The Winston School from August 2015 to January 2022 and worked as an ABA Therapist at The McCarton Center for Developmental Pediatrics from January 2014 to September 2015. Riley's earlier experience includes serving as a Special Education Teacher at Children's Academy and as a Teacher Aide at Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES, providing a solid foundation in special education and support services. Riley holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Mercy University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Keene State College, supplemented by studies at Macquarie University.
