Patti Cole-Tindall currently serves as the Sheriff of the King County Sheriff's Office, a position held since January 2022, and previously acted as Interim Sheriff. Prior to this role, Patti was the Undersheriff and Chief of the King County Sheriff's Office from October 2015 to January 2022. Patti's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Labor Relations for King County, WA, from 2010 to 2015, where responsibilities included advising on labor strategic planning, policy development, and employment law, along with serving as chief negotiator for organized labor relations. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Troy State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Central Washington University.
