Liz Biro

Liz Biro is an accomplished food writer with extensive experience in the culinary and travel sectors. Currently serving as a Food Writer for the North Carolina Coastal Federation since March 2012, Biro shares stories that highlight the region's food culture, history, and recipes. With a diverse portfolio, Biro has contributed to a variety of esteemed publications, including Fodor’s Travel and USA TODAY, where notable achievements include being a top subscription driver across Gannett. Previous roles include Marketing Director at Duplin Winery, where Biro led successful sales strategies, and a Content Strategist for USA Today Wine & Food Experience. Additionally, Biro hosted and produced a video series with The Indianapolis Star and operated a food tour company, gaining recognition for innovative culinary experiences. Biro's educational background includes studies at East Carolina University, the Institute of Culinary Education, and Lenoir Community College.
