Lawrence Carrignan

Lawrence Carrignan, CISSP has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Lawrence currently serves as the Head of the Information Technology Department at King Industries, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Enterprise Architect, Cybersecurity at the same company from October 2019 to June 2021.

From December 2017 to November 2019, Carrignan worked as the Senior Director of Information Systems at Arvinas, where they were responsible for infrastructure development, security, and compliance. Lawrence also provided SQL development services for the Finance department, managing Dynamics GP and providing custom solutions.

Before joining Arvinas, Carrignan served as the IT Department Head at SurgiQuest/CONMED from January 2015 to November 2016. Lawrence played a crucial role in improving surgical operations and patient response to surgeries through technology.

Carrignan's career also includes roles as a DBA-Developer at Clarity Software Solutions, Inc. from January 2013 to January 2015, an IT Manager-Senior Engineer at GFS from July 2010 to October 2012, and the Director of Information Technology at Limson Trading from December 2006 to June 2010.

Earlier in their career, Carrignan worked as a Business Analyst-Senior Application Developer at NATL from March 2003 to December 2006 and as an IT Manager-Application Developer at IPM LTD from June 1999 to 2003.

Throughout their career, Carrignan has utilized various technologies and tools such as SQL Server, TSQL, SQL, ETL, Access, MS Project, Visio, BizTalk Server, XML, XSLT, EDI X12, HTML, FTP, AS2, Visual Studio, Red Gate SQL ToolBelt, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Terminal Services/RDP, TCP-IP, Fortigate, VB.Net, VBA, C#, and VB Script.

Lawrence Carrignan, CISSP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which was obtained from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they pursued studies in Physics at the University of Connecticut. Lawrene Carrignan has also obtained a certification in Windows Server 2019: Configure Hyper-V from LinkedIn. Lawrence is also certified in (ISC)2 Security CISSP from (ISC)².
