Paul Gerome

Paul Gerome has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Paul is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Geology at King Operating Corporation since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Oil and Gas Consultant at Gerome Energy LLC from May 2019 to July 2022.

Before that, Paul worked as a Geoscience Consultant at Marathon Oil Corporation in 2020, where they were a part of the Resource Exploration Group. Paul focused on finding new growth opportunities for the company, particularly in the Austin Chalk, Eagle Ford, Eaglebine, and Woodbine sequences.

From 2008 to 2013, Paul was a Senior Staff Geologist in the New Ventures and Corporate Development Teams at Southwestern Energy. Their responsibilities included detailed geologic research on unconventional reservoirs and performing reviews of potential acquisition targets.

Prior to that, Paul held the position of Senior Vice President G&G at CDX Gas, LLC from 2004 to 2008. Paul managed the G&G staff and presented the use of CDX's patented Z-Pinnate® Horizontal Drilling and Completion System to potential JV partners. Paul also served as the Vice President of South Region Operations, overseeing drilling and completions, land, geology, accounting, and engineering departments.

At the early stages of their career, Paul worked as a District Geologist at Equitable Production Company, later known as Statoil Energy, from 1996 to 2004. During this time, they drilled 539 wells and created 217 BCF of reserves.
