Dominic Tayco

Dom is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at King River Capital, where he leads the firm’s operational activities, including finance, compliance, human capital, and investor relations.

Before joining King River in 2021, Dom founded Thaddeus Martin Compliance to support private equity and venture capital managers in integrating compliance, risk management, and sustainability into their organizations. Before that, he spent fifteen years, initially as CFO and then CCO of Stafford Capital Partners, an international multi-asset class private equity firm, and before that worked at Deloitte in their corporate and financial services tax group.

Originally from Sydney, Dom has bachelor’s degrees in Business and Laws from the University of Technology Sydney. He is a Legal Practitioner (Solicitor) of the Supreme Court of NSW.
