Olle Nilsson

Olle Nilsson is a seasoned technology professional specializing in database engineering and cloud services. Since February 2014, Olle has held the position of Director of Engineering in Cloud Engineering at King, following notable roles as Lead Database Engineer and Senior Database Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Principal Consultant and MySQL Consultant at Oracle from March 2011 to February 2014, and as an IT Consultant specializing in MySQL consultancy and software development at UPSYS AB from 2007 to 2011. Olle also contributed to various projects as a MySQL Consultant for ICA and MySQL/SUN/Oracle between 2007 and 2010. Earlier, as a Software Engineer at the Linneaus Centre for Bioinformatics, Olle was involved in the setup and maintenance of a bacterial genome database. Olle holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
