Tom Barclay

Tom Barclay is an experienced executive in the housing and property sectors, currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Kingdom Housing Association since March 2023, and as an Independent Member of the Group Audit & Risk Committee at Clanmil Housing Group since September 2024. Barclay also holds the position of Chairman of the Judging Panel for The Herald Property Awards and has served on the Global Audit, Risk, Assurance & Finance Committee for RICS until April 2024. Previously, Barclay was the Group Director of Property & Development at Wheatley Group from October 2016 to August 2022, and co-chaired the Scottish Government Joint Housing Policy & Delivery Group from November 2015 to January 2022. Additional roles include serving as the Audit, Risk & Assurance Chairman and Group Board Member at Our Power, and the Group Chief Executive of Clyde Valley Group from October 2005 to September 2016. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Glasgow and a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University.
