Melissa Wilson

With a curious mind and entrepreneurial spirit, Melissa has a knack for connecting the dots both personally and professionally – whether people, ideas or data points. She is founder and CEO of AltSourced Solutions, a FINRA and SIPC Member securities broker-dealer, offering corporate advisory, M&A, capital raising, and strategic planning services.

Driven by her passion for making the world a better place, Melissa focuses her time serving companies and projects related to renewable energy, circular economy, and their disruptive innovators that can become tomorrow’s leaders.

Melissa integrates her diverse 20-year corporate experience with her personal investment experience and her diverse global network of contacts to take a holistic and consultative approach to helping her clients reach their goals.

For over a decade Melissa worked in various senior strategic business development roles at Deutsche Asset Management’s global alternative investment boutiques. She worked alongside portfolio managers, product development, executives and sales and marketing teams to strengthen existing investor relations and grow product market share. She worked across real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and hedge fund asset classes and with institutional and high-net-worth investor groups.

Working at Deutsche Asset Management’s global alternative investment boutiques early in her career gave Melissa Wilson the passion to think critically, invest confidently, and always take an entrepreneurial viewpoint to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.

After her tenure at Deutsche Bank, Melissa also held senior product management and marketing roles at Lord Abbott, Prudential Securities and most recently as an Investment Strategist for BNY Mellon.

In 2019, Melissa ended her 20-year career in New York City and relocated to Naples, Florida with her husband to raise their two children and to start to her second career with AltSourced Solutions.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, with a double major in Economics and German. She currently holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and 79 licenses.
