Michael Dirende

KingsRock’s Partner has over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, dealing largely with distress and special situations as a principal, de-facto interim executive and as an advisor of risk. A recognized restructuring expert in corporate, municipal and structured finance matters. He has spent over 10 years during the great crisis at insurance companies winding down lines of businesses and leading multibillion dollar loss mitigation strategies.

Among his career experiences, he was recently Chief Surveillance Officer – Structured Finance at Assured Guaranty, a director of special situations at MBIA and a senior advisor at Zolfo Cooper, NKA (Alix Partners).

Graduate of Pace University; a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor.
