Michelle Bourne is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and management. Currently serving as the Program Manager for the Women’s and Children’s programs at Kingston Health Sciences Centre since January 2018, Michelle has previously held leadership roles as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and an Acute Medicine Registered Nurse within the same organization. In addition to current responsibilities, Michelle worked as a Clinical Services Manager at Quinte & District Rehabilitation, where initiatives for equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility were spearheaded. Previous positions at Lakeridge Health included roles as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and Charge Nurse in Cardiology and Oncology, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient-centered care and team leadership. Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University, along with certifications in critical care nursing and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Trent University.
