Stefan Schaafsma

Stefan Schaafsma is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial leadership and business development within the chemical and fertilizer industries. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Kinkelder BV since August 2020, Stefan previously held the position of Head of Sales and Solutions at Stamicarbon, where leadership was provided to drive growth in the sales and service organization. Stefan's notable roles include Licensing Manager at both Stamicarbon and DSM, as well as Front Office Manager and Solids Processing Expert at DSM. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Groningen.
