Jim Kinney

Jim Kinney is the current President & CEO at Kinney Group. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on the Federal marketplace. Prior to joining Kinney Group, Jim was an Federal Account Executive at Hitachi Data Systems and VP, Sales and Business Development at Gracenote. Jim was one of the original members of the Gracenote team and was responsible for business strategy that helped the company capture the dominant position in the global market for music recognition. In the summer of 2008, Gracenote was acquired by Sony for over $250M.

Jim Kinney began their educational career by obtaining a BSIM from Purdue University Krannert School of Management. Jim then went on to obtain a second BSIM from the same school.
