Pedro R. Cutillas

Pedro R. Cutillas has an extensive work experience in the field of cell signaling and proteomics. Pedro currently holds the position of Professor of Cell Signaling & Proteomics at Barts Cancer Institute since October 2020. Prior to this role, they served as a Reader in Cell Signaling & Proteomics at the same institute from October 2015 to September 2020. Pedro also worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Haemato-Oncology from October 2013 to September 2015.

In addition to their academic positions, Pedro R. Cutillas has taken on entrepreneurial roles. Pedro co-founded and served as a Director at Kinomica, a company specializing in proteomics. Pedro held this position from April 2016 to the present. Pedro was also a Founding Director at Activiomics Ltd from April 2010 to March 2014.

Pedro R. Cutillas has been involved in various academic institutions throughout their career. Pedro worked as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London from September 2012 to October 2013. Pedro also served as the Head of Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics at the Medical Researh Council Clinical Sciences Centre, Imperial College from October 2012 to September 2013. Additionally, they held a Senior Lecturer position at the Centre for Cell Signaling, Bart's and the London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University of London from October 2010 to September 2012.

Earlier in their career, Pedro R. Cutillas worked as a Group Leader Analytical Signaling Group at Barts Cancer Institute from January 2007 to September 2012. Pedro also served as a Lecturer at QMUL from 2007 to October 2010. Prior to their work at Barts Cancer Institute and QMUL, they worked as a Research Fellow at University College London from October 2003 to October 2006.

Pedro R. Cutillas completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry at King's College London from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry at UCL from 2000 to 2003.
