Edward King

Edward King has over 20 years of work experience in various technical leadership roles. Edward has recently been appointed as the Head of B2B Engineering at Kinship as of November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering, SPG at Autodesk from June 2018 to November 2021. Edward was also the VP of Engineering at Fetch Robotics, where they implemented agile development cycles, recruited top talent, and tripled the size of the Engineering team. At Navis, they held the position of VP of Software Development, where they led an agile transformation, created architecture and DevOps teams, and managed delivery and technology managers. Edward previously worked as the VP of Technology at GT Nexus for over 13 years. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Lead Software Engineer at Mercury 2, CTO at IQ Factory, and Consultant at Deloitte. Edward began their career as a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer at Microwave Networks Inc. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in engineering management, project leadership, Agile methodologies, and software development.

Edward King earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019. Additionally, they earned the Certified Scrum Master certification in August 2011, although the institution where they obtained this certification is not provided.
